D-R-A-G-O-N

I was reading Brisingr (the third Eragon book), and it made me want to draw a dragon. At first I tried to draw Saphira (Eragon's dragon) fighting these little creatures (a scene in book 2), but I failed, so I just drew a ref-sheet for a dragon, but I never ended up doing all the other details that a ref-sheet usually includes, so I just have this.

Shaded differently than I usually do, and it came out pretty nice for the small amount of effort and precision I put into it. I did it on two layers and liberally used the 'magic wand' and 'select color' tools, which makes jagged edges where they should be smooth, and compels the wrong color of pixels to creep in where they don't belong. I also didn't shade his crest, but my excuse is that it glows slightly so it dosen't have shadows. *innocent smile*
